A Christmas Message from Fr JeLo

Merry Christmas I hope you all had a wonderful time on Christmas Day with your loved ones. Christmas is about the ―family‖, as portrayed in the Nativity scene – Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Christmas tells us the story of God who chose to dwell with us, and so we become his family (in the Nativity, we also have the shepherds and the wise men).

As I mentioned last Sunday, I will be away for my holidays. I too will also have time to spend with my family and friends this Christmas season (Thanks be to God). I’ll be back before the end of January 2016.While I’m away, Mons. Trevor Murray and Fr. Joseph George will be looking after both the weekday and Sunday Masses in our Parishes. Please note that the Tuesday Mass in Te Aroha will be at 5:00pm beginning 29 December 2015 until 26 January 2016. In case of any urgent matter, you may contact Mons Trevor or Fr Joseph on 07-863 8998 (Waihi Parish).

As we welcome 2016, I hope and pray that God’s abundant blessings come upon you and your loved ones. See you all when I get back.

Fr JeLo
