The visual progress on site has been great for the last few weeks, this is the time of the project when dramatic change to the site appearance occurs weekly. With the main roofing iron installed, some building wrap fitted and the lower roofing membrane continuing it means the building is closing in and is starting to look like a “building”
The only disappointment for the week was that the pre-cast panels did not show up, this was because they are taking longer to be “honed” than first thought (Honing is a grinding process to expose the aggregate of the concrete). They will be here on Tuesday however so they will not cause a major delay.
Over the next week you will see the pre-cast panels installed, the framing to the walls and roof continue and the membrane roofing on the lower roof completed. We also hope to have more building wrap installed so the framing is not exposed to the weather and can have time to dry out for the interior linings.

Great to see the children taking a big interest in the project and I’m sure they will be amazed on Tuesday as the panels are lifted into place. If you have any further query please contact me
