As you can see the progress has been good over the week despite losing a day on Monday to the wind. The structural steel has certainly revealed the church building’s true size!

Over the next week we will be busy with the framing to the walls and roof, there is a lot of framing to complete now that the structural steel has been erected. Just to let you understand how much framing there is to complete, the total amount of framing in the building is 7197m!

We will also be erecting the scaffold around the building over the week for both access and for fall protection from the roof and then we will start the plywood on the lower roof.

Off the site the pre-cast panels have been formed and will need to cure for a week before travelling to site from Auckland, we hope to have these Monday week (20/10/14)

We hope everyone is enjoying seeing the progress and please contact me if you have any queries.
