October is the Month of the Holy Rosary. I invite you to come to church for the praying of the Rosary every evening at 5.30pm on the following dates:
  • 10-14 October TE AROHA
  • 17-21 October PAEROA

I would also like to invite you to come to our Days of Prayer for Mercy which will be on 25,26 and 27 October (Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Paeroa respectively). This is part of our observance of the Jubilee Year of Mercy (ends on 20 November 2016).

The culminating activity for that week will be the PILGRIMAGE OF MERCY to St Joseph’s church in Te Puna on Saturday, 29 October. There is a form in the foyer for those who wish to join. Let us seize this opportunity to celebrate the mercy of God in this Holy Year (the next Jubilee is not till 2025). For more information, please check flyers in the foyer.

Let us pray for the eternal repose of the souls of our recently departed parishioners: Ann Aarts, Graham McVeigh and Agnes Reichmuth. We offer our prayerful sympathy to their bereaved families.

There will be NO Mass in Te Aroha on Tuesday, 11 October because a Requiem Mass will be held for Agnes Reichmuth at 11am in Morrinsville. The 10am Mass on Wednesday, 12 October will be in Te Aroha.

And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. [Luke 17 : 15-16]

Be grateful, Feel great
