Greetings of peace to you all!

This is the first newsletter for the year 2017. I hope you enjoyed the Christmas season and the holidays, and that you had a good start to the new year!
Schools have started! Paeroa had their first school Mass on Thursday, while Te Aroha and Morrinsville will have theirs on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Our Sacramental Programme for 2017 will start soon. Enrollment forms are available in the parish office, church foyer and at our school offices. The child has to be at least 8 years old already. Please attach a copy of the Baptismal certificate of the child.

Greetings and blessings to Mrs Winnie Hannah (Te Aroha) who will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Monday 6th February. What a milestone! Congratulations and all the best Winnie. May you be showered with lots of love by your family on your special day. God bless!

Attention to our young people in the parish, year 11-13 students and young adults aged 18-35. Set free...April 7-9th. For more details visit www.setfree.org.nz.
With Ash Wednesday coming up in less than a month, can I ask you to bring to church your blessed palms from last year’s Palm Sunday celebration. A basket will be in the foyer for you to put in the blessed palms.

Happy Waitangi Day and a blessed week ahead.
