The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) will start on 21st October (Wednesday). If you know someone who is interested in joining the Church, or simply to know or inquire about the Church, advise them to ring the secretaries or myself. 

Christmas Dinner
We, the Parishes of the Holy Family, will have our Christmas dinner on Friday, 27th November at 6:00pm at the parish hall in Te Aroha. Christmas carols and lots of fun and surprises for the evening, plus an opportunity to meet other parishioners within our parish community. They may surprise you as well! So please mark your calendars! 

The Parishes of the Holy Family‘s observance of the Month of the Holy Rosary will officially begin on Wednesday, 7th of October, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, with the blessing of the statue of our Lady within the Mass in Morrinsville at 10:00am. The statue will then be transferred to St Mary‘s Paeroa in which the rosary will be prayed in church everyday for a week at 5:30pm. Please do come. For schedule of activities, refer to posters on our notice boards. 

Let us pray for the upcoming XIV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops (4-25 October) with the theme: ―the Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and in the Contemporary World‖. Four New Zealanders are taking part in this event: Cardinal John Dew (Wellington Archbishop), Bishop Charles Drennan (Palmerston North), Fr. John Kleinsman (Nathaniel Centre) and Mrs Sharron Cole (Midwifery Council)
