Sunday 25th December 2016 | Christmas Day | Feast of The Lord's Nativty

posted Dec 26, 2016, 7:30 PM by Parishes of The Holy Family
Greetings of peace to you all! Christmas is a season of giving—we give gifts and cards, we give our time to family and friends—this is in imitation of God’s generosity on that first Christmas when he gave us His Only-begotten Son.

I wish to thank you all for your generosity throughout the whole year, for giving your “time, talent and treasures” to the Church; in our Liturgical Celebrations and other areas of parish life. Thanks to our Parish staff, the Parish Pastoral Council, the Finance Committees, the Liturgical Ministers, those involved in the maintenance and upkeep of the churches, the schools and all of you who generously contributed to the betterment and growth of our Parish Community and the Faith. May the good Lord continue to bless you and your loved ones.

Just to give you a heads up on next year’s plan, the Parish Pastoral Council will be working on the amalgamation of our three communities into one parish (Holy Family Parish) - this is in accordance with Hamilton Diocese’s plan “Who is our Neighbour?”. In the meantime, let’s all enjoy the holidays

There will be no Masses this week, 27-30 December (NO liturgy of the Word either). Regular weekday Masses resume next week.
This is our last newsletter for the year, and we won’t be having one until the last week of January or first week of February. I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a grace-filled new year!
