We will have the Days of Prayer this week, on 25, 26 & 27 October ( Te Aroha, Morrinsville and Paeroa). I invite you to take part in the spiritual activities from 12noon to 8pm in our Churches. Mass will be at 7pm, to be followed by potluck dinner. For more details, please refer to the flyer in the foyer. NOTE: there will be NO 10am Mass on the said dates.

The Pilgrimage of Mercy to Te Puna will be on Saturday, 29 October. For those who wish to join, please sign the form in the foyer, if you haven’t done so. For details please check the flyer in the foyer

November is the Month of Remembering the Faithful Departed. On 1, 2 and 3 November, Masses will be at 5.30pm (therefore, NO 10am Masses). To be followed by a Blessing at the cemetery. Please bring a bottle of water, which will be blessed at the cemetery, and which you can then use to bless the graves of your departed loved ones. Also, write down the names of your departed loved ones on a piece of paper, and drop it in the wooden box in the foyer next weekend.

The Commissioning of all Extraordinary Ministers of Communion will take place on 3rd and 4th December within the celebrations of the Mass. You will then be issued the new certificates from the Bishop.

Please note that beginning 5 November, Vigil Masses in Paeroa will now be at 7pm.

This year’s Pre-Christmas Socialization will be held in Morrinsville. It will be a potluck picnic lunch at the school grounds, after the 11am Mass on Sunday 11th December. Another important date to mark on your calendar

Today is World Mission Day—with the theme “That All May Have Life” ( John 10:10). Let us support the Mission of the Church spiritually with our prayers and financially with our donations to MissioNZ. Let us remember today especially all the Missionaries who have left home in order to preach the Gospel and give witness to Christ through their lives. May more and more people come to know the Lord through these courageous and faithful Missionaries.
