Next Sunday is World Mission Day, with the theme: “That All May Have Life” (inspired by John 10:10). Please keep in your prayers the missionaries all over the world who selflessly and courageously carry out the task of preaching the Gospel. We also pray for ourselves, that we may be missionaries in our own little way, especially in our community, parish, school and family.

We are now in the third and final week of our observance of the Month of the Rosary with Paeroa being the last to host the praying of the Rosary every evening at 5.30pm.

Jubilee Year of Mercy Days of Prayer on 25, 26 and 27 October (Te Aroha, Morrinsville and Paeroa respectively), from 12nn to 8pm. I hope you can make time to drop by the Church to participate in the spiritual activities and spend some moments with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. For details, please refer to the flyer in the foyer.

Again, I’m inviting you to join the Pilgrimage of Mercy to St Joseph’s Church, Te Puna, on Saturday 29 October. There is a form in the foyer for those wishing to join.

Please note that there will be NO Mass in Te Aroha on Tuesday, 18 October, but there will be a Liturgy of the Word with Communion.

Praying for you,
Fr JeLo
